The journey so Far….

Hello and welcome to the first blog for my business. We are all on our own journey and that’s why I’m delighted I have finally started my journey as a celebrant.

But what brought me here? Why did I choose to become a celebrant?

All my life I have been surrounded and involved with caring and listening. My early childhood this was due to the career of my parents and then, as an adult, I chose to become a teacher. I was lucky to teach in many different places not just in primary education, but also English as an Additional Language. Through these roles I was fortunate to mix with people from many different backgrounds and cultures.

Through life we celebrate a collection of milestones - the arrival of a new born child, the joining of two lives and saying a final farewell to name the most significant. Each moment is deeply important which is exactly why I became a non-religious celebrant. I believe that every story in life is unique and deserves to be told with sincerity, warmth and complete freedom. Whatever the occasion, my goal is to create a ceremony that feels like home by focussing entirely on the people, the love and the legacy being celebrated.

I’m looking forward to your journey being part of my journey…..
