Your wedding day is one of life’s most treasured moments-a celebration of your love and the promises you choose to make to each other. As an authorised Marriage Officer with Independent Humanist Ceremonies, together we will create a ceremony that feels personal and joyful, whether it’s a grand occasion or an intimate gathering. With care and dedication I will ensure that every word, reading and ritual reflects your unique journey as a couple, leaving you with memories to cherish forever.

fees and services

My fee for a wedding service is £500 is expressly to cover the time and craft involved in the preparation, planning, and personalisation of your script prior to the ceremony.  The ceremony itself is conducted and the marriage solemnised without further charge, and not for profit or gain. which includes:

  • Personal visit to meet and discuss your ceremony with you and your family members to gather information which will be used to create your personalised ceremony.

  • All telephone and email communication.

  • Sharing and amending your Love Story until you are completely happy with the content.

  • Advising and assisting with readings, poems and music for inclusion in the ceremony.

  • Optional extras include a quaich, hand fasting, sand ceremony or other symbolic ceremonies at no further cost.

  • Conducting the service on the day.

  • Providing a printed copy of your Love Story for you to keep.

  • Travel for the ceremony is charged for from my home in Eddleston, Scottish Borders.
